Kenya County Government Workers Union (KCGWU) Secretary General Roba Duba has threatened to lodge a complaint against Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko over abuse of office.
Duba accused the Governor of harassing and intimidating Nairobi county employees.
The official stated that several workers had been sacked, suspended or sent on compulsory leave on flimsy grounds.
Duba claimed that some workers had been locked out of their offices illegally while others were intimidated by "goons hired by the governor."
The former Moyale MP stated that the worker would stage a strike that would cripple city services if the "inhumane" treatment of workers persisted.

"Threats to workers must stop. This behavior of walking around with gadgets to record people and using the EACC to arrest workers is not how to conduct a governor's job," Duba stated.
"If he continues this way, we will be forced to energize our members and stage protests despite the fact that we do not want to do so given the political climate," he added.
This comes following the arrest of two workers union officials on Tuesday after they allegedly received a bribe solicited from Sonko.
Nairobi City Worker Union Secretary-General Benson Olianga and Assistant Treasurer John Muriuki reportedly received the bribe in order to call off a looming strike announced earlier.
The two were apprehended by officers from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).
