Wafula Chebukati Gets New Job Offer

Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission  (IEBC) Chairman Wafula Chebukati has been offered a new job ahead of the repeat presidential election.

Kiminini Member of Parliament MP Caleb Amisi on Sunday told Chebukati that if he is unsure on whether the election will be credible, he should step aside stating that he has a job for him.

"If you have said you are not sure of a credible election, come here I will let you be the Chairman of Constituency Development Fund (CDF)," he stated.

Speaking during NASA's campaign trail in Kiminini, he also urged his residents to boycott the repeat poll adding that all those who will go to vote will be considered fools.

Siaya Senator James Orengo, who was present during the campaign indicated that President Uhuru Kenyatta is powerless arguing that his team was unable to beat NASA in the Supreme Court petition.

He reiterated the statement on election boycott indicating that he is the one who is controlling and will ensure the NASA team will keep away the election.

NASA co principal Musalia Mudavadi, on his part, indicated that is impossible to hold the repeat poll slated for 26th October.

He took a swipe at anycting Interior Cabinet Secreatry Fred Matiang'i stating he is unable to perform his duties and that is why that he joined Jubilee's team

Mr Wetangula noted that the Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinett and NCIC boss Francis Ole kaparo to probe the CS over the allegations that he is part of an outlawed militia group, chinkororo.

Regarding the killing of protestors, he noted that if the Police have denied their involvement in the murder of demonstrators, then they should explain how the alleged killers accessed police uniforms, guns and bullets that were used to shoot supporters.
