Alfred Mutua Reveals Why Kalonzo Has Been Missing From NASA Events

Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua has revealed what he believes is the reason behind Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka's recent silence.

The Governor claimed that Musyoka's absence from the limelight pointed to a silent agreement with the October 26th election date, contrary to the National Super Alliance's (NASA) position.

He took to social media to state: "The silence of NASA Co-Principal Kalonzo Musyoka is very telling. He is sending a silent message in agreement to the Oct 26th elections."

NASA had announced that Mr Musyoka was attending to business in Germany and would be back soon.

He addressed recent NASA rallies in Kisumu and Kisii via phone links where he maintained his support for the coalition's declaration that there will be no election on October 26th.

The former Vice President and the Maendeleo Chap Chap (MCC) Party leader have clashed on various occasions. Following his victory in the Machakos gubernatorial race over Wiper Candidate Wavinya Ndeti, Mutua stated that the real battle had been between Musyoka and himself.

Governor Mutua has since pledged support for President Uhuru Kenyatta's re-election bid.

NASA has declared that there will be no presidential election as they do not believe the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has done enough to correct the errors that led to the nullification of the August 8 election.

They have insisted that the electoral body must meet their 'Irreducible Minimum' conditions before a fresh Presidential election is held.

At recent events, they have maintained that the admission by IEBC Chairperson Wafula Chebukati that he cannot guarantee a credible poll and the resignation of former Commissioner Dr Roselyne Akombe have vindicated their claims.
