Gatundu South Member of Parliament (MP) Moses Kuria has divulged that the Jubilee Party could punish Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja for intervening in a confrontation between Jubilee and NASA politicians in Pan Afric Hotel in Nairobi.
Through his Facebook post, Mr Kuria stated that the Jubilee party would institute disciplinary proceedings against the Nairobi Senator.
According to the Gatundu South MP, the Jubilee politician interfered with 'the affairs of a terrorist organization.'
Senator Sakaja on Thursday intervened as Mathare MP, Anthony Oluoch, was allegedly being attacked by Jubilee MPs' bodyguards.
The NASA legislators and their Jubilee counterparts clashed during a press conference called by Jubilee at the Nairobi hotel.
Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen had given his speech faulting Mr Odinga for destroying his legacy by declaring NASA a resistance movement.
While giving his speech, Mr Murkomen claimed that he was footing the bill for NASA MPs who had just held a press conference at the same venue.
During the press briefing, the NASA team led by the Mathare lawmaker and Kibera MP Ken Okoth stormed the press conference and stopped Mr Murkomen from continuing with his address arguing that he was giving false information on live TV.
Just after the Opposition MPs had retreated, a group of youth emerged and descended on Mr Oluoch with kicks and blows.
The Nairobi Senator carried the day after calming MP Oluoch and pulled him away from the fist fight.
