National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga has issued a new warning to President Uhuru Kenyatta following the killing of protestors by police in the past week.
Addressing a rally in Kawangware on Sunday, the opposition leader condemned the government for ethnic profiling Luos and using excessive force in NASA strongholds.
“I want to tell Jubilee; that the country cannot be governed by a barrel of a gun.
"Luos are Kenyans like any other tribe. You should not beat them just because they refused to vote. Luhyas, Kisii, Kamba, Mijikenda, Somali, Masai and Turkana communities did not participate as well," he stated.
Mr Odinga refuted claims that he was retiring ahead of the announcement of the winner of the fresh presidential election.

The Opposition leader assured that he would push his agenda in politics and would only retire when he sees it fit.
"Wachana na mambo ya umri ya mtu. Angalia akili ya mtu, angalia sera ya mtu...nitastaafu nikipenda kustaafu (Which loosely translates to: We should leave the issue of someone's age. Judge someone from his thinking and the policies he is pushing for. I will retire when I want to retire)" he declared.

The Opposition leader further divulged that the shooting of deputy Chief Justice Philomena Mwilu's bodyguard was a threat sent to the entire judicial system in Kenya.
The former Prime minister noted that the attempted assassination was meant to intimidate the judiciary system led by Chief Justice David Maraga.
He also accused Uhuru Kenyatta's government of scheming to destroy the country's system of governance including the Judiciary.
