Ezekiel Mutua Demands Action on 'Gay' Lions Spotted in Kenya

The Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) Chief Executive Officer Ezekiel Mutua has demanded that two male lions spotted mounting each other at Masai Mara be separated.

Mr Mutua, on Thursday, suggested that the two lions be subjected to scientific research and determine how they acquired homosexual behavior.

The KFCB boss, who has been described as the "moral policeman" of the country, termed the lion's demeanor as bizarre adding that no conclusions should be made until scientific research confirms their gender.

“We (KFCB) do not regulate animals, but this is a first to hear that there are two male lions in love. Some research needs to be done. That is not normal,” Mr Mutua stated.

He further claimed that the two lions could have learned homosexual behavior after watching a gay couple having sex in the game reserve.

“These animals need counseling because they have probably been influenced by gays who have been to the park and behaved badly. They must have copied it somewhere or it is demonic,” Mr Mutua argued.

“Surely they do not watch movies, where would animals learn of such behaviour?” he wondered.

Mr Mutua regarded homosexuality as a behaviour driven by demonic forces and demons also possess animals. He recommended that the animals be separated immediately.

“I mean where on earth have you heard of animals engaging in such acts. Demonic spirits inhabit humans it seems now they have caught up with animals,” he further argued.

The two male lions were spotted in a secluded bushy area at the Masai Mara holiday destination while behaving in a manner that suggested they were involved in sexual contact.
