NASA MP Demands Sh9.9 Million From Top Kenyan Bank

Alego Usonga MP Samuel Atandi has demanded to be paid Sh9.9 Million by the National Bank of Kenya.

Atandi, who previously worked at the Bank, sued the financial institution over claims of wrongful termination.

The MP claimed that he was dismissed by the bank barely two years after employment.

Atandi worked as a Director Institutional and Transactional at National Bank before he reportedly quit to venture into politics.

He also previously worked as a Senior Relationship Manager at the NIC Bank of Kenya.

The MP indicated his intention to quit in January, according to IEBC regulations, to enable him run for the Alego Usonga Parliamentary seat.

Atandi stated that the process of reforming the country required active and informed professionals in the assembly to better lives of Kenyans.

The MP later clinched the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) ticket in the nominations held in April beating former Alego Usonga MP Mr George Muluan Omondi.

Atandi is among National Super Alliance (NASA) leaders who have been in the forefront fighting the re-election of President Uhuru Kenyatta.
