Aden Duale Welcomes Kalonzo to Parliament

House leader of Majority Aden Duale, has welcomed Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka to Parliament stating that he would add value to the August House.

Mr Duale gave his analogy in an article he wrote that was published by The Star as to why he thought Mr Kalonzo would be a worthy candidate in the August House.

“Maybe Kalonzo wants to be at the same level as his friend and NASA co-principal Senator Moses Wetang'ula, the Senate Minority leader,” Mr Duale stated.

The Garissa Township MP was speaking as to why he thought Mwingi North Member of Parliament Nzengu Mushimi had applied for the East African Legislative Assembly position.

“Either the Wiper leader and National Super Alliance co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka wants to come to Parliament and maybe become the Minority Leader in the House to propel himself in his 2022 presidential game plan,” Duale stated.

He further speculated that the Wiper Leader might be looking to shield his son Kenneth Kalonzo from stiff EALA campaigns in the House and stand for the Mwingi North parliamentary seat.

Furthermore, Mr Duale expressed his admiration of the Wiper Leader noting that he was an experienced politician.

He noted: “If Kalonzo will come to Parliament, it will be of great value especially due to his vast political experience, the shenanigans we have been witnessing about the NASA affiliate parties not working together will be history.”

“At least the Opposition will not only have a leader in the House but also representing them in the House Business Committee,” he added.
