Kalembe Ndile Explains Why He Could Ditch Jubilee

Former Kibwezi MP Richard Kalembe Ndile on Tuesday explained why his Tip Tip Party might ditch the Jubilee Party led by President Uhuru Kenyatta.

He threatened to withdraw his party from Jubilee arguing that his party members are being sidelined in decision making.

He complained that the ruling party had breached the agreement to have consultative meetings among all parties that merged to form the coalition.

“As a party, we will take necessary measures; we aren’t treated as equals," Mr Ndile noted adding that his party is not being involved in meetings.

"Other parties making Jubilee have been given positions where Ken Lusaka, Eugene Wamalwa from New Ford Kenya have landed on positions," he pondered.

He has also cited the removal of his name in EALA list of nominations which he claimed was maliciously done by National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale and his Senate counterpart Kipchumba Murkomen.

He explained that he had applied for a slot in the regional assembly, but his name was deleted from the list.

“I obeyed the call and presented my documents for considerations, but Mr. Duale and Mr. Murkomen removed my name from the list in bad faith," he stated.

He noted that if such deeds persist within the ruling party, he will lead his Tip Tip party to detach off the Uhuru-led party.
