Social media was on Monday morning a buzz with Kenyans discussing different topics of the day.

Here are today's trending topics:

Raila

Opposition Leader Raila Odinga has been a subject of discussion following the postponement of his inauguration on Sunday evening.

The rescheduling of the event by the National Super Alliance (NASA) angered a section of Mr Odinga's supporters who took to social media to express their disappointment and frustration.

Some of the supporters noted that the coalition was taking them for granted with too much talk and no action.

Others threatened to ditch the Alliance claiming the coalition's leaders were not serious.

They further noted that they will not pay attention to the coalition anymore adding that they would rather focus on the 2022 General Election.

The angry supporters advised the Opposition leaders to stop talking about electoral reforms that are required in the country if they cannot act when given an opportunity to do so.

Here are some reactions:

2. Supreme Court

The court had in November delivered its summarised ruling where the Judges unanimously upheld President Kenyatta's re-election.

In the ruling, Chief Justice David Maraga stated: "The court has unanimously determined that the petitions are not merited and the final orders are that the petition by Harun Mwau versus the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission and two others as consolidated is hereby dismissed.

“The petition by Njonjo Mue and another versus the chairperson of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission and three others as consolidated is also hereby dismissed. As a consequence, the presidential election of October 26 is hereby upheld as is the election of Uhuru Kenyatta."
