NTV news anchor Larry Madowo has blasted the Director of Digital, Innovations & Diaspora Communications at State House Dennis Itumbi.
In his weekly article, Madowo called out Itumbi and the Presidential Strategic Communications Unit (PSCU) team for allegedly embarrassing President Uhuru Kenyatta on various occasions.
Larry accused Itumbi of being unprofessional for allowing a shamefully petty tweet that was an attack on lawyer Donald Kipkorir to be posted on the official PSCU handle.
"Itumbi exemplifies everything that is broken about President Uhuru Kenyatta’s public relations team.

"He either enjoys relative invincibility because of his contributions during the campaign that he can freelance as he pleases without consequence,” Larry stated.
The NTV anchor also accused Itumbi and co of open insubordination to their boss, State House Spokesman Manoah Esipisu.
“He and the other “senior directors” of PSCU spent much of the last term in acts of open insubordination to their boss, Manoah Esipisu,” he lamented.
“Instead of focusing on their job, they are on social media insulting those who disagree with President Kenyatta and his party,” he remarked.
An astonished Larry further wondered why Itumbi had let the President’s picture with suspected Anglo Leasing scandal mastermind, Deepak Kamani, be shared for all to see.

“If his communications team got over their own self- importance and worried about optics, they would know that such a meeting should never happen, whether in public or private,” Larry remarked.
