A bus belonging to the City Shuttle company was on Wednesday morning involved in an accident in Nairobi Central Business District (CBD).
The bus overturned along Kenyatta Avenue near the I&M building at 6:20 am.
Reports indicate that the bus hit a personal vehicle then rammed on the traffic lights at high speed before rolling.
The bus was full to capacity when the accident occurred.
The injured passengers have been rushed to Kenyatta National Hospital by the Kenya Redcross but the number of casualties is still unclear.
The bus has since been towed away.

Meanwhile, 36 people were injured on Tuesday when a Mwingi-bound bus rolled at Kanginga area on its way from Nairobi.
Mwingi Central OCPD John Nyamu confirmed the incident stating that the accident may have been as a result of brake failure.
"The cause of the accident is yet to be established but there are allegations of brake failure," the OCPD told The Star.
The injured passengers were taken Mwingi Level Four Hospital for treatment.
