Raila's Inauguration Pushed to End Month

The planned inauguration of National Super Alliance (NASA) Leaders Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka has reportedly been pushed to the end of January.

According to Citizen TV, NASA CEO Norman Magaya noted that the Opposition Leaders would be inaugurated at the end of the month and not early January as had been announced.

"The train has left the station. We are determined to pay the ultimate price to ensure that the power of the vote is restored in this country," Magaya was quoted by Citizen.

Mr Odinga had in December called upon his supporters to be patient promising that he would be inaugurated very early in the new year.

"We promise you that you can now look forward confidently to our swearing-in ceremony very early in the New Year," Odinga stated.

Elsewhere, Siaya Senator James Orengo on Wednesday stated that plans to swear in NASA leaders Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka are complete.

The Senator reiterated the coalition's stand that it is determined to see Raila take the country's top leadership.

He called on all NASA supporters to remain patient adding that it was better late than never.

“Raila will be sworn in and those who think he will not are dreaming.

"This is the year of change in Kenya and that change will be realised when Raila takes the oath of office as the President of Kenya,” Orengo was quoted by the Standard.
