"We will swear in Raila Odinga on January 30...Raila has no option. He will be sworn in whether he likes it or not.

"He is going to be the people's President because I have the server results of August 8 (General Election)," stated Miguna.

The lawyer further revealed that Odinga got 8,634,761 votes (53%) while President Uhuru Kenyatta garnered 7,675,162 votes (47%).

"If the swearing-in was comical, we would not have the Jubilee Attorney General threaten us with treason.

"We would not have 18 people killed during a walk from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport when Raila returned from the US," he added.

On Monday, National Assembly Minority Leader John Mbadi addressed reports of division within the National Super Alliance (NASA) coalition over the former Prime Minister's swearing-in plan slated for January 30 2018.

Addressing the media at Parliament buildings, the Suba South Member of Parliament stated that the Opposition coalition was on course with the swearing-in plans.

"I don't think there is any division (on Raila Odinga swearing in). I know all of Raila's advisors and I have not heard any of them saying he should hold on," he conveyed.

He added that Odinga would be sworn in adding that the anger of Kenyans had been suppressed for much too long.
