Demand This Document Before Raila is Sworn in - NASA Tells Supporters

National Super Alliance (NASA) on Wednesday announced the new document its supporters must demand from MPs before their leader, Raila Odinga, is sworn in as the People's President.

In a statement, the Opposition outfit directed its supporters to demand a signed copy of an affidavit from their elected leaders which confirms that they recognize Mr Odinga as the People's President, deputized by Kalonzo Musyoka.

"We urge wananchi to ask their elected leaders for this signed instrument, and if they have not, we leave it to the wananchi to deal with them politically," part of the statement read.

The Odinga-led team also sent out a warning to a section of the Opposition elected leaders who they claim are not committed to NASA's agenda and are sabotaging the quest for electoral justice.

"Kenyans are watching. The people are watching! If you want to negotiate with the thieves. Do so in your individual capacity, do not pretend to speak for the rest of us," the statement read

They also reiterated that the Kenyan elections are always full of malpractices and singled out the 2002 elections which they stated was the only free and fair exercise.

"Kenyans are tired of the vicious cycle of electoral fraud perpetuated by unpopular tyrants to force their will on the paper. It is time to call their bluff; it is time to bring down the walls of Jericho," they stated.

The NASA brigade further accused President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto of living in a fantasy world assuming that with time, Kenyans would get over the controversial election.

"We are here to state that in no uncertain terms, that we will neither forget, nor will we tire in our efforts until the usurpers are driven from power," the Opposition leaders conveyed.
