Donald Kipkorir's Visit to Chebukati and Chiloba Sparks Angry Reactions [PHOTOS]

Lawyer Donald Kipkorir on Friday paid a courtesy visit to Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati and Chief Executive Officer CEO Ezra Chiloba.

This photo did not augur well with a section of Kenyans on social media who dubbed him a betrayer owing to his perceived good relationship with NASA leader Raila Odinga and his allegiance to the Opposition.

Through his Facebook account, Mr Kipkorir announced his visit indicating that he had an open chat with the two electoral commission officials, who he stated are his friends.

Here are some of the comments:

Before the release of August 8 election, Mr Kipkorir penned an open letter to Odinga assuring him of his support during the electioneering period.

"Baba, no matter the outcome of the presidential elections, your place in the History of our country is cast in stone.

...No other leader, bar President Daniel Arap Moi, has mentored leaders across the country. Personally, I wanted you to be President, and I voted for you. Many conveniently forget that without you, Kenya wouldn't have been a multi-party democracy," he stated.

The lawyer also commended Odinga's efforts of standing for a credible electoral process.

"With time, our electoral process is getting better each election year... Kenya is a beacon of democracy, thanks to you," he conveyed.
