After his dramatic deportation to Canada on February 6, prominent opposition affiliated lawyer, Miguna Miguna, has hit back at former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale.
In an earlier message, Khalwale had indicated that he had sought the intervention of Canadian Government through the High Commission in Nairobi.
However, Miguna Miguna has refuted these claims telling Bonny Khalwale that he should not take credit he does not deserve.
"Stop taking undeserved credit. You did absolutely nothing in defense of my rights," Miguna told Khalwale off.
The deported lawyer disclosed: "The Canadian High Commission in Nairobi has confirmed to me that you did not contact them."
"A lying physician is a disgrace to human civilization!" Miguna Miguna expressed his disappointment with Khalwale, who formerly practiced as a Medical Officer.
Earlier in the week, Khalwale divulged that he had called the Canadian Embassy complaining why the administration was not concerned about its citizen.
The former Senator stated: "Ofcourse I am happy that Miguna Miguna is free but condemn in the strongest terms possible the illegal and unconstitutional stripping his Kenyan citizenship."
"If my intervention at the Embassy of Canada was useful then am pleased," Khalwale added, alluding to his role in seeking the release of the lawyer.
Miguna was arrested on Friday, February 2, at his Runda home in Nairobi by a contingent of police officers and his whereabouts remained unknown for 5 days until his appearance at a Kajiado Court.
His deportation came shortly after an admission that he conducted the mock oathing of NASA leader Raila Odinga as the 'People's President' at Uhuru Park on January 30.
Interior CS Fred Matiang'i, who authorised the deportation, claimed that Miguna had disowned his Kenyan Citizenship after acquiring the Canadian one, an allegation that the lawyer denied.
