Miguna Miguna, the self-declared National Resistance Movement (NRM) general, has indicated that President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto will have to make a choice out of three limited options after his return to Nairobi on March 26.
Speaking to Kenya News Alert TV from Canada where he was deported by the government, Miguna pointed that the first option President Kenyatta will have is to go into exile.
According to Miguna, the President may alternatively choose to resign and continue living in Kenya as a private citizen.

Lastly, Miguna stated that the Head of State may also settle on revamping the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) and reconstructing the electoral body.
In case the President opts on restructuring IEBC, Miguna pointed that the country would then have to conduct free and fair elections within two months.
"If we do not create a credible electoral body to run credible elections, we can never restore democracy or have the popular will of the people prevail through credible elections," Miguna stated.
Queried on how he intended to conduct the agenda of pressuring the government to vacate office, the lawyer stated: "We will do it legally, democratically and with the people's power."
Miguna also expressed that together with businessman Jimmy Wanjigi, they were pleased by the efforts by police to arrest them as it exposed lack of confidence on the part of the government.
"Let us face each other in courtrooms, in debating platforms, and at the ballot," he indicated.

Miguna further alleged that the only reason why he was deported was that the government was not courageous enough to face him in court.
