Donald Kipkorir Explains How Governor Alfred Mutua is a Fraud

City lawyer Donald Kipkorir on Saturday referred to Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua as a fraud.

Speaking on the Athi River bridge that collapsed, Kipkorir dismissed the county boss claiming that he has no regard for the truth.

"When Athi River Bridge collapsed, Gov. Alfred Mutua went full blast on all his Social Media Channels claiming his Engineers are fixing the Bridge till KeNHA said it’s not true ... KeNHA fixed it," posted Kipkorir on his Twitter page.

The flamboyant lawyer, further, noted: "I have said many times that Mutua is a charlatan. "

On Thursday, the former government spokesman alerted Kenyans informing them that the Joska-Kamulu bridge had been washed off by Athi River.

Mutua also exclaimed: "Our engineers on Mombasa road are busy repairing the Mto ya Mawe bridge so that we can open the road."

However, Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) issued a statement refuting Mutua's claim that Machakos County engineers worked on the roads.

KeNHA affirmed that its engineers did the work as well as manage the floods along Mombasa Road.

"It was our engineers who closed the road and reopened it after the floods subsided as well as work on the bridge," noted KeNHA communications assistant director Charles Njogu.

Kenyans equally ridiculed the governor over what most of them claimed to be a public relations (PR) stunt.

"Alfred Mutua is only good at PR, he is one of the social media Governors," exclaimed a tweep.
