Nandi Governor Reveals Position Jubilee Should Give Wetangula in Senate

Nandi Governor Stephen Sang on Saturday revealed the position Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula should be given by the ruling party following his ouster as Minority Leader in Senate.

Speaking to KTN News, Sang stated that Jubilee party ought to appoint Wetangula and his other co-principals, Kalonzo Musyoka and Musalia Mudavadi, to other key government positions.

"One of the Jubilee leaders should cede a Vice Chairman committee position to accommodate the NASA principal," he noted.

Sang also empathised with Wetangula while encouraging him to join the ruling party.

"I want to tell my dear friend that choices have consequences and it is not yet over, he can join our team," exclaimed the County boss.

Addressing the Senate Majority leader, Kipchumba Murkomen, Sang urged the legislator to ensure that their NASA counterparts are well 'sheltered' by the party.

He further advised the NASA co-principals to 'tighten their belts' since there are 'tough times ahead.'

Applauding the unity pact between President Uhuru Kenyatta and NASA leader Raila Odinga, Sang highlighted that since the 'handshake', the country has experienced numerous diverse developments.

Additionally, he called upon other NASA principals to work together in support of the unity pact.

His call comes barely hours after ANC leader Mudavadi condemned Raila for betraying him.
