The victims have since been rushed to Wetu Hospital in Wundanyi.

The area police confirmed the incident, affirming that only two people were injured.

In February a similar incident occurred after an aircraft also crashed at Nairobi National Park minutes after takeoff from Wilson Airport.

The incident had transpired during a morning training session which left the instructor and a pilot trainee hurt.

Emergency services providers quickly responded, rushing the two occupants to the hospital for treatment.

Another plane crashed after a Kenya Air Force fighter jet crashed near a school on the Laikipia-Isiolo border, near Lepura in February.

At the time, Isiolo County Commissioner George Natembeya confirmed the incident which left Lepurua residents amazed and relieved the jet did not land on them.
