Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke ANC secretary general Barrack Muluka confirmed that the meeting happened and the discussion was not politically inclined.

The meeting between the two came barely a day after the former Kiambu county boss met with Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga.

Raila posted the pictures with the former Governor disclosing that they discussed "political developments in the country with particular focus on the building bridges to a new Kenyan nation initiative."

The former Kiambu governor told  Kenyans.co.ke that the meeting was development-oriented adding that he didn't have to be in office to influence development in the country.

Kabogo further noted that the country should not be in international headlines only when it came to elections.

Muluka told Kenyans.co.ke on Wednesday the plan to merge Ford Kenya and ANC was in motion and it was not a Luhya Party as some politicians have alluded.

"In a nutshell, Ford K is a national party with elected leaders outside Luhya land and ANC too and we can't deny that its a stronghold.
