Raila Odinga Visits Former President Daniel Moi [PHOTOS]

 

National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga on Thursday paid former President Daniel arap Moi a visit at his Kabarak home. 

A photo emerged on social media platforms of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader and the former commander-in-chief.

Speaking on the visit, ODM Party noted: "The two leaders consulted on the current state of political affairs in the Nation."

Mr Odinga was accompanied by Vihiga Senator George Khaniri and Mvita MP Ahdulsamad Nassir.

According to the Opposition leader, Baringo Senator Gideon Moi and Nick Salat welcomed the his delegation. 

Last month the former Head of State had left the country for Israel for medical check-ups.

He was later given a clean bill of health by his doctors at Tel Aviv Hospital. 

Moi had a problem with his knee which was operated on and is stated to be responding well to medication. 

The ODM leader has in the past few days been meeting a number of leaders across the political divide. 

On Tuesday, Odinga met with former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo at his Capitol Hill Offices in Nairobi.

He divulged that they discussed "political developments in the country with particular focus on building bridges to a new Kenyan nation initiative."
