President Uhuru Kenyatta and NASA leader Raila Odinga will also grace the event in their first meeting since the historic handshake at Harambee House.

Oparanya disclosed that the itinerary will see Uhuru open the conference on April 23 with the “Big Four Agenda” on housing, security, affordable healthcare, and manufacturing.

Over 6000 visitors are expected to attend the conference and on April 24, Odinga will give a keynote address on devolution at the meeting which will be facilitated by the Council of Governors.

Deputy President Willian Ruto will on April 27 draw the conference's curtains that brings together stakeholders in devolution to evaluate the progress made on policy, law, accountability, good governance, and service delivery.

Koffi was deported in 2016 after purportedly kicking a woman at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Nairobi.

Prior to his deportation, the musician was arrested alongside his crew of three women dancers after an interview on Citizen TV.
