National Resistance Movement (NRM-K) self-declared general Miguna Miguna on Monday divulged how President Uhuru Kenyatta's unity agreement with NASA leader Raila Odinga will affect Deputy President William Ruto's 2022 presidential bid.
According to the outspoken leader, DP Ruto's fate has already been decided and he will not succeed in his quest to clinch the top seat.
The Canadian barrister noted: "Let me say this for the sake of those who don't know or are too dishonest to say so openly: William Samoei Ruto's 2022 fate is sealed.
"But not by the "hand cheque." That's just a distraction. Our duty as the #NRMKe is to DEFEAT both William Samoei Ruto and those who have sealed his fate," Miguna exclaimed.

He further claimed that the unity pact made by the Head of State and the Opposition leader will ensure that DP Ruto does not become president in 2022.
Miguna has in the past highlighted: "Mr. William Samoei Ruto has been running around for the last 5 years shouting about "I'm President in 2022" purportedly with Uhuru Kenyatta's "support." But now that the Kikuyu Mafia has shot him from behind - he is now yelling, "Stop talking about 2022." Ng'oooo! #Resist."
Miguna, a harsh critic of the Jubilee administration, has continuously divulged that his movement (NRM) will ensure that Ruto does not succeed Uhuru come 2022.
Miguna's sentiments have been supported by those of political analysts like Dismas Mokau who affirmed to the Standard that the Uhuru-Raila handshake signalled the birth of a possible third force in 2022.
"This means that we will have Ruto possibly facing off with Raila and a third candidate who will come from the Kalonzo, Mudavadi and Wetang’ula axis,” affirmed Mokua.
Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke, Bob Mkangi stated: "The Raila-Uhuru pact is definitely a game-changer not only for Ruto but everyone interested in running for the presidency in 2022.
However, Mkangi affirmed that the pact presented Ruto with a tough course ahead but according to him, Ruto is a seasoned politician and he has a substantial political influence which could work in his favour.
