He is believed to be hiding in the country and is likely to be planning a terror attack in the holy month of Ramadhan.
Police indicate that is part of the group that was planning to carry out a terror attack in Nairobi in February.
He is said to be a close associate of Abdimajit Hassan who is in police custody facing charges over a foiled terror attack in Nairobi.
Abdimajit had planned to launch an attack in the capital city using a Vehicle-Borne Improvised Explosive Device (VBIED) that police recovered in Merti, Isiolo County on January 15.
Police term Munyasya as a habitual offender suspected to be among the youth who burned down the Living Water Church in Kitui.
Following the incident, the suspect and his accomplices were arrested but later released on bail which saw Munyasya sneak into Somalia.
