Mutahi Ngunyi Advises Miguna Miguna to Accept Nomination as Nairobi Deputy Governor

National Resistance Movement (NRM-K) self-declared general Miguna Miguna on Thursday categorically asserted that Mutahi Ngunyi's advise to him was uncalled for.

Posting on his Twitter, Mutahi Ngunyi suggested: "To my FRIEND Miguna (If he is STILL my SMS friend). You should CLIMB DOWN, Miguna.

"The SONKO offer is an opportunity from GOD. GENUINE or NOT, take it. Then READ Niccolo Machiavelli on HOW to IMPEACH Sonko in 100 DAYS of potholes and Nairobi filth," the political analyst recommended.

However, in his response, the Canada-based barrister exclaimed: "Hahahahaha! My "friend" @MutahiNgunyi, I didn't know that your "Forthall School of Government" PROPAGANDA has now been transformed into the "School of MYSTIC COMEDY."

"Fortunately, I'm neither a student nor a teacher there. Best regards and cheers!" Miguna affirmed.

On Wednesday evening, Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko nominated Miguna to be his deputy.

The governor went ahead to justify why he wanted the vocal advocate to be second in command saying he is a legitimate Kenyan and has what it takes to take the county to the next level.

"The nominee meets all the requirements provided for in the constitution, the leadership and integrity act, election act and the county government act," stated the governor.

The outspoken leader, however, noted that he was not aware of the nomination and he had not spoken to governor Sonko since the gubernatorial debate in 2017, despite his lawyer Cliff Ombetta having stated he was in possession of Miguna's nomination letter.

"Good afternoon I have no idea what nearly everyone seems to be talking about. It's a malicious distraction. That's all I'm saying" Miguna stated.
