Miguna Miguna Labels Raila a Drunk

Canada-based lawyer Miguna Miguna has hit out at NASA leader Raila Odinga accusing him of showing up at the airport drunk.

According to an audio clip doing rounds on social media, the self-declared NRM general claimed that Odinga could barely speak when he came to rescue him at JKIA.

"He talks as if he was detained with me (yet) he came to JKIA drunk as a skunk. He could not even speak.

"He was incoherent. He couldn’t even stand on his two feet. That's why he was sitting there pretending to speak on his phone," divulged Miguna.

ODM's Communications Director Philip Etale rubbished those claims saying Miguna is just obsessed with Odinga.

"He (Raila) wanted to help Miguna but he refused to be assisted. He tore every document he was issued to fast-track the process.

"For him to claim Raila was drunk is disrespectful and unacceptable," he told Kenyans.co.ke.

When Miguna was denied entry into the country, several leaders showed up at the airport to show solidarity but the lawyer has accused some of them of double-standards terming their efforts as insincere.

He further went ahead to accuse Odinga of supervising his torture, labelling him as a deceitful leader.

Over the weekend, the opposition chief revealed that he had asked President Uhuru Kenyatta to include Miguna in the handshake deal.

Speaking during a London forum, the former Prime Minister further revealed that he had asked the lawyer to come back to the country by following the right procedure.

“I am the one who brought Miguna into NASA, and Miguna was one of those who swore me in as the people's president. And I raised this issue with Uhuru Kenyatta myself.

"I said Miguna must be part of the package of this handshake, and I talked to Miguna myself and told him to come back," he revealed.

He further divulged that during Miguna's deportation, he held his hand but was stopped by police because the self-declared NRM general had not produced his passport.
