3 Dead, 4 injured in Monday Night Shoot-Outs

Police shot and killed three armed robbers at Komarock estate in Nairobi on Monday evening.

Head of Nairobi Criminal Investigation Department Ireri Kamwende, said that they intercepted a thuggery mission recovering two firearms from the criminals.

Still on Monday night, as the heavy rains pounded, a suspected thug shot and injured a butcher, an M-Pesa agent and two other people in Gachie, Kiambu Couinty.

According to Kiambu Police boss Stephen Ng'etich, the armed man failed in his mission to steal money from the victims, therefore fired shots that injured the four.

However, Ng'etich confirmed that the four victims were taken to hospital and were in stable condition, the Star reports.

These incidents happened just a day after an Administration Police officer who is also an MP's bodyguard, killed three gangsters in Umoja, in a fierce shoot-out.
