Liposuction, a cosmetic surgery that involves removing fat from the body, emerged as one of Kenya's top trending searches on Google on Wednesday with over 2,000 hits.

Curiosity around the procedure may have been caused following the death of a young woman, Julie Wanza, who unfortunately died after a botched breast enlargement surgery.

Julie is said to have died as a result of an infection caused by punctured intestines.

Some commentators speculated that the breast augmentation procedure may have employed the fat transfer method which could have led to the punctured gut.
