Renowned comedian Eric Omondi on Tuesday morning lost his brother Eric Onyango 12 hours after he found him in Nairobi downtown.
In a heartfelt message to his fans, Eric took to Instagram stating: "This is not the last image I would have wanted to post of my brother... But this is definitely the image I want every young person in this Country to see!!! Joseph Onyango Omondi passed on this morning around 3am, barely 12 hours after I found him in Downton River Road.
"He was addicted to Cocaine and other substances and was in and out of Rehab for the past 19 years. May God himself take charge." his message read.

The comedian managed to trace his elder brother who has been missing for a period yesterday evening.
This was through the help of a taxi driver who spotted Onyango along Nyandarua Road in Nairobi.

According to Omondi, his brother has been suffering with drug addiction since his high school days and has been in rehab for the past 19 years.
In a video shared in his social media accounts, Eric could not hide his joy as he introduced Joseph to the public.
