Elder of Great Heists. What will vindicate how messed up we are is that learned and important individuals in our society will attend

The theme should be changed to "shortcut to success"...
Anyway, we all have 24 hours everyday.

They are not satisfied with money and power. They end up craving academic recognition. Next, buy a honorary doctorate and go around demanding to be addressed as “doctor”, like the CEOs. https://t.co/iwdJ3xGU8e

I cringe at this. Even the thought of going to listen him speak (note I haven't used lecture) on how he hustled his way to billions... appalling

I would love to go there just to chew gum and boo.

Realized our public universities are the greatest source of mediocrity

Every man has different things they call 'success'. At times poverty 'inspires(sic)' people to do ANYTHING to make sure they never smell suffering again. We're dealing with a mental problem and not just a moral issue here. We need have a Chief Government Psychiatrist.

— David omondi (@DavyOmondi) July 3, 2018

But the organisers, what be their motive? What do we stand for as a nation? But this does not give them a seat at the table though, it's just a personal comic relief episode for the few

Dr @DavidNdii we have fake people given to state honours and looters speaking on Road to success!
Next we have hairdressers speaking on on how to fill sacks.

Lecture for pay as he buys his honorary Doctorate

— steveBIKO (@kenjapala) July 2, 2018

The theme should be renamed as Dubious ways to success.

The time is April 2004, and William Ruto becomes the first MP to be charged with a criminal offence (grabbing of public land - Ngong Forest) since President Mwai Kibaki took power. 14 years later the same person is giving public lecture on the theme "Journey to Success" pic.twitter.com/68S2RVfc7a

Wonders of the world... William Ruto is giving a public lecture on The Road to Success. RT if you are attending. pic.twitter.com/5V1oxLJpeb

The only reason I will be attending this “public lecture “ of @WilliamsRuto on 12/7/2018 at @KenyattaUni is to disabuse the twisted narrative of Ruto. I will make it clear to him that he is a bad example who has accumulated wealth through corruption and looting @amerix pic.twitter.com/1D90ByEpgX

The DP's rise to the second-highest office in the country is a remarkable story of ascending from "rags to riches".

Ruto, a self-declared "hustler" who rose from being a chicken seller into an influential figure at the heart of the country's political arena has nevertheless been frequently criticized over his massive wealth.

Recently, ODM Secretary-General Edwin Sifuna questioned the source of DP's wealth posing: "How can somebody who is responsible for a country that is failing, be doing so well in his private business?

"How comes that this business acumen cannot be translated into the country so that we all prosper? And when you ask, you are told that he is an astood businessman," Sifuna quipped.

Weighing in on the recent opposition by some Jubilee leaders on the lifestyle audit directive including by Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen, Sifuna opined that only the guilty ones would be afraid of the process.

"If you have made corruption your lifestyle, then when the war against corruption begins, it will be about you," Sifuna concluded.
