NTV senior anchor Ken Mijungu has spoken out about reports claiming that he has been sacked from the media station
Ken Mijungu who is set to replace Larry Madowo as the Sidebar show host confirmed he had an issue with the newsroom managerial team after and had lodged a case with the HR Department.
His Sidebar promotion was also momentarily pulled off air.

Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke, Mijungu dismissed the reports noting that in case such an action had been taken, he was not aware.
“I have not yet resigned and if I have been fired I haven’t been notified yet,” Ken Mijungu told Kenyans.co.ke on Thursday.
"All things said and done you have to acknowledge that the course of things can change but as for now am preparing to go live on air," he stated.
He further confirmed that he had lodged a complaint with the HR but he refused to more divulge details on the same.
"Yes I lodged a complaint but we have to acknowledge no one is perfect and these are the dynamics of a newsroom, we don't always agree on everything," he continued.
Highly placed sources at the station indicated that leadership wrangles are to blame for this.
The main problem is said to be one of the senior managers who has reportedly been a thorn in the flesh of journalists at the station.
“He has been reported several times by at least six reporters including anchors but nothing has materialized.
“The editor does not have soft skills and he is a bully to almost everyone in the station,” the source indicated.
It is also claimed that he is the reason why many journalists and reporters have opted out of the news house.
Information reaching our desks also has it that the new faces at the station were hired because they had worked with him previously at a different station.
“They were employed on cheap terms and some of them are not even professionals,” the source observed.
It was also hinted that one of the best Swahili news anchors Nimrod Taabu left the station because of locking horns with the management.
