The Catholic Diocese of Nakuru is on the spot after one of its vehicles was involved in a hit and run accident.
According to eyewitnesses, the driver was on the phone when he hit an expectant lady.
The incident occurred on around Botto Solar St Mary’s Pastoral Center.

Good Samaritans rushed the lady to hospital and she later recorded a statement with the police.
However, she is yet to discharged by the medics.
In the process of fleeing from the scene, he is said to have hit a matatu leaving behind a side mirror which was used to identify the vehicle.
The car with the registration number KBB 587K was proved to belong the Catholic Diocese of Nakuru.
The accident occurred and was reported on Tuesday, July 3 but the church is yet to honour police summons.
It is also alleged that the church has been trying to kill the story ever since.
When contacted for a comment by Kenyans.co.ke, the diocese did not respond.
