Kenyan Woman in Daring US Bank Robbery [VIDEO]

On Wednesday, a Kenyan woman walked into Bank of America in Murphy, Texas and tried to rob it as recorded in a video clip doing rounds.

The police identified the suspect as 36-year-old Evelyn Misumi.

An official statement indicated that she was armed with a hammer, gasoline and lighter fluid.

It is also reported that she poured the gasoline and lighter fluid on the bank's floor and demanded money from the cashiers while waving the hammer.

It was alleged that Evelyn also planned to use the hammer for breaking the cash drawers.

However, her attempts failed when bank officials called 911 forcing her to flee the scene before she was subdued.

Police noted that she was tased and pepper sprayed but still managed to get to short-timed escape.

Before her arrest, she took a 9-month-old baby from her car and attempted to use the child as a human shield.

The police managed to grab the kid from her and apprehended her.

Evelyn was taken to Colin County jail while the baby was taken to Children’s Medical Center.

She will remain in custody and later be arraigned in court to face the charge of robbery and child endangerment.
