Comedian DJ Nakumatt Passes Away

Popular Kenyan comedian DJ Nakumatt is dead.

The comedian who appeared on the Churchill Show passed away on Saturday following a short illness.

He is remembered for his comical mouth mixing skills where a video of him performing his routine landed him a slot on the show.

Daniel Ndambuki creator of the Churchill show took to social media to express his condolences stating; "We will miss you dearly. Rest with the angels."

"You mean that guy is gone? No more? This is sad. May his soul rest in peace," another wrote.

"Oh no! So sad may his soul rest in perfect peace," one Kenyan noted.

Earlier in July, veteran TV comedian, Charles Kimani Kangara, popularly known as Masaku passed away at the Mbagathi Hospital in Nairobi.

In April 2017, Churchill led family and friends in paying tribute to the late Emmanuel Makori alias Ayeiya at the Nairobi Pentecostal Church in Karen.

Ayeiya passed away after the vehicle he was travelling in hit an electric pole on Friday 14 April near the Catholic University of Eastern Africa in Nairobi.

The deceased was in the company of Maina Olwenya, comedian Paul 'Wakimani' Ogutu, Ayeiya's wife Alice Njoki and a friend.
