Recent data by the National Treasury has listed counties in accordance with the average annual pay per person.
According to the statistics, Isiolo, Lamu and Marsabit counties have the highest annual payment per person since the start of the devolved government in 2013.
Isiolo has an average of Ksh 21,837 between 2013 and 2018, closely followed by Lamu with Ksh 20, 970.

Marsabit, which is the largest county in the country, had an average allocation of Ksh 18, 204.
Nairobi county had the least allotment of Ksh 4,198 while Kiambu, Meru and Nakuru followed with Ksh5049, 5,333 and 5,380 respectively.
The counties have received more than Ksh 1.3 Trillion since the start of devolution in 2013.
According to a survey by the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS), Nairobi and Central Kenya counties command the list of the richest counties.
The capital has the least share of people living in poverty with 17 percent of its population being affected.
Nyeri and Meru follow with 19 percent each, Kirinyanga 20 percent and Narok with 23 percent.
Turkana, on the other hand, is ranked the poorest with 79 in every 100 people living in poverty.
It is followed by Mandera 78 percent, Samburu 76 percent and Busia at 76 percent.
