Bahati's New Reality Show 'Being Bahati' Lands in Trouble

A new reality show starring Gospel Singer Bahati and his wife Diana Marua has received heavy criticism and poor reception from Kenyans.

The show dubbed Being Bahati aired its inaugural episode on Sunday but Kenyans were not amused by the show.

Netizens took to social media hitting hard against Bahati and Marua's show for not meeting their expectation for the show.

Crap.

This thing #BEINGBAHATI is total crap. So NTV have reached a point that they are so desperate for viewership and money that they can air any trash that is thrown at them. Ideally, even Akothee could have done a much better reality show. I prefer even to watch cartoons. NKT!

Following the endless criticism, a section of netizens came to the defense of Bahati and his new venture.

In particular, some noted that at least the youthful couple had taken the bold move and ventured into the unknown.

Others opined that the negative criticism was uncalled for and was just meant to unnecessarily discredit a show that was on its infant stage.

I don't get why peeps are so mad at Bahati. They are the same people who'll be on here with their "follow your dreams" lecture, then turn on you the moment you do something bold. While I don't really get the point of #BeingBahati, I applaud the work put in.
