Lawyer Ahmednassir Abdullahi has vowed to petition the Prime Minister of Malaysia to reject the nomination of former Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) chief Ndegwa Muhoro as Kenya's new ambassador to Malaysia.
In a series of tweets in which he tagged several senior officials of the Malaysian government, Abdullahi termed the appointment as an 'insult to the people of Malaysia.'
Other than the country's current Prime Minister Mahathir Bin Mohamad, Abdullahi further promised to petition Anwar Ibrahim who leads the country's ruling Pakatan Harapan coalition.
Abdullahi declared that Muhoro was 'unworthy' to present his credentials before Sultan Muhammad V who is Malaysia's Head of State.
"Can't believe that H.E UHURU has nominated former CID Director Ndegwa Muhoro to be our High Commissioner to Kuala Lumpur...it is an insult to the Malaysian people.

"I will personally write a petition to the Prime Minister of Malaysia & Dr Anwar Ibrahim to reject Mr. Muhoro as Kenya's representative to Kuala Lumpur. He is unworthy of presenting his credentials to Sultan Muhammad V," he wrote on Twitter on Tuesday.
Abdullahi has a long-running battle with Muhoro that came to the fore in 2017 when the lawyer sensationally claimed that Muhoro wanted to kill him.
At the time, he alleged that Muhoro had directed a special squad to assasinate him over his involvement in a dispute on Tatu City land in Kiambu County valued at more than Sh8 billion.
Muhoro, however rubbished Abdullahi's claims accusing him of defamation and maligning his name against a court order he had obtained.
When it was initially announced that Muhoro would be posted to an Ambassadorial position, Abdullahi promised to make a presentation before a parliamentary committee opposing the appointment.
"I will definitely make my representation to the parliamentary committee that will vet former CID Director Mr. Muhoro who was nominated as ambassador. He isn't worthy of holding any public office..." he wrote on 14th July, 2018.
