Emurua Ddikirr MP Johana Ngeno Weds in High Profile Ceremony [PHOTOS & VIDEOS]

Emurua Ddikirr MP Johana Ngeno on Saturday married Naiyanoi Ntutu in a ceremony graced by a number of high profile personalities including Deputy President William Ruto and ODM leader Raila Odinga.

After years of hesitation, Ngeno finally shifted his alliance from the bachelors club in an auspicious occasion at Emurua Dikirr Secondary School flanked by Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi who was his best man.

The couple arrived for the ceremony in a helicopter with Sudi and Nelson Koech.

"We honour the family unit as the first institution that molds and prepares us for interaction with others and shapes our worldview. The bonds of friendship, love and family play an important role in the formation of a stable country.

“I am happy you can now settle down as a family man. The problems we have with you in the past is now water under the bridge. You are now an elder. Welcome to the married club,” DP Ruto stated.

On his part, Raila described the KANU MP as his longtime friend whom he's tried to cajoling into finding a wife.

“He looked for me and insisted I must attend his wedding as he had finally found the love of his life. I am happy for him,” Mr Odinga conveyed.

Energy CS Charles Keter doubled up as the Master of ceremony for the occasion while Bomet Governor Joyce Laboso described herself as the MP's Godmother.

Also in attendance were Majority leaders Aden Duale and Kipchumba Murkomen, Former Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto, Narok Governor Samuel Tunai, Murang'a Woman Representative Sabina Chege and Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter.

On the bride's side were former Senator Stephen Ntutu and Interior Ministry CAS Patrick Ole Ntutu.
