What Melania Trump Enjoyed Most on Meeting Margaret Kenyatta at White House

United States First Lady Melania Trump on Monday hosted Kenya's First Lady Margaret Kenyatta at the White House in Washington DC. 

Following the meeting with the Kenyan First Lady, Melania revealed that she had particularly enjoyed conversations centring on Mrs Kenyatta's Beyond Zero campaign.

Mrs Trump added that she and First Lady Kenyatta have a shared concern for the well-being of children.

"It was a pleasure having @FirstLadyKenya at the @WhiteHouse today.

"I enjoyed learning about @BeyondZeroKenya and discussing our shared concerns for the well-being of children," Melania's tweet read.

Kenya's First Lady accompanied President Uhuru Kenyatta to the US for the first visit following the election of President Donald Trump.

Reporting the deliberations of the meeting he had with President Trump, President Kenyatta conveyed that they had agreed to strengthen the Kenya-US partnership, especially in matters concerning security at the Horn of Africa region.

"President Trump and I agreed to bolster the Kenya-US partnership in peace and security especially in the Horn of Africa region.

"We also discussed the direct flights from Nairobi to New York by Kenya Airways that are set to commence in October. The flights are set to boost tourism and trade for the mutual benefit of our two countries.

"African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA) is one of the main areas that is set to benefit from the direct flights between Nairobi and New York," Uhuru's verified Twitter handle posted.
