Nairobi's undercover police, Hessy wa Dandora, has revealed the identity of a criminal threatening his life.
The shadowy officer who has gained popularity by apprehending and eliminating criminals in Eastlands area of Nairobi noted that two men Brian Kigonyi and Joseph Murege have become a thorn in the flesh due to their high connections.
"These are the very guys I have severally warned about their behaviour: the challenge I get in their game is that, when I warn them, I also get warned by some individuals," the detective posted on Facebook.
According to Hessy, Kigonyi and his accomplice Murege are untouchable and "terrorise anyone but nothing happens to them because they are highly connected".
Kigonyi has allegedly escaped death on several occasions by evading police ambushes and successfully running away from scenes of crime.
However, despite numerous arrests, the suspect has never stepped into Court since his parents have links to highly influential offices in Nairobi.
In one instance, Hessy notes that Kigonyi was spotted terrorising people at Dandora Phase One and went into hiding when police went for him.
"The same day, Murege was spotted in town (CBD) with over ten (10) live ammunition whereby he kept on boasting and threatening people on Nairobi streets," the crime buster added.
Interestingly, the man then proceeded to a robbery mission in Karen estate later in the evening.
In the past, Hessy has used unconventional methods that involve several warnings on criminals with those who fail to reform being gunned down in police ambushes.
