Suspect Linked to Corporal Martin Korir’s Death Arrested

A most wanted criminal linked to the killing of police officers in Nairobi City was on Wednesday evening taken into custody.

The man only identified as Brayo is believed to have killed Corporal Martin Korir during a highway robbery along Thika Superhighway.

The suspect is also believed to have been involved in the shooting of Deputy Chief Justice Philomena Mwilu’s driver shortly after he dropped her at home in October 2017.

Brayo was captured by Ahmed Rashid, a respected crime buster in Nairobi.

He was taken to Pangani Police Station for further questioning as reported by The Star.

According to previous reports, Brayo, alongside other thugs, robbed Neo Kenya bus, took away Korir’s gun among other valuables and shot him dead.

Flying Squad officers, however, found the gun after ambushing thugs in Dandora, killing four in the process.

The suspect was also being sought in connection with other major robberies and killings around Nairobi area.

According to a report by Kenyans.co.ke, two suspects have been arrested in connection with the driver’s (known as Titus Musyoka) shooting.

Three others who had been apprehended in 2017, in connection with the case, were released on Sh1 million bail after pleading not guilty.
