Moses Kuria Exposes Man Who Has Been Conning in His Name

Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria on Saturday exposed a conman who has been terrorizing him.

Through his Facebook account, Kuria asked Kenyans to be wary of the man who uses his name to dupe unsuspecting people most of them being women.

"There is this guy who has been conning people with fake stories of how he is close to me," Kuria revealed attaching the photo of the man identified as Samuel Njonjo Wanjiru.

"If he tries some hanky-panky games on you report him to the police," the Gatundu South MP cautioned.

True to Kuria's allegations, many netizens trooped to his timeline confessing of their misfortunes at the hands of the conman.

Njonjo allegedly operates several businesses including a distillery, several hotels and clubs, a pork business in Thika operated by his wife and also doubles as a car dealer.

One user Daniel Gatenge narrated his ordeal: "While browsing Facebook I found this guy with cars for sale advert... he ended disappearing with my 320K which I paid as a deposit for hire purchase.

"The guy is smart very smart he is well connected because reports to police stations did not do me any justice.. he works with another dude, a Luo, who is good at hacking," Gatenge added.

Samuel Njonjo who reportedly hails from Kahuguini Village, Ngenda location, Kiambu County displays a lavish lifestyle on social media and is a friend to several politicians.

Another user Xonie Gichuru stated: "He stole my laptop, my ATM card and withdrew all my money after he saw me enter my pin. The CID at Ruiru tried to arrest him but he went missing".

The man is reportedly an alumnus of Naaro High School and he is said to use photos he took with the Gatundu South MP during the campaigns to lure his victims.
