Embattled Lugari Member of Parliament Ayub Savula’s land was put up for auction in a local daily dated October 31.
The prime property is located in Ilemit area off Kiserian-Magadi Road in Kajiado County.
The 54.49-acre piece of land is estimated to have a current market value of Ksh55 million.
Kenyans will be waiting to see if he survives the auction on November 21 the same way he did an attempt to sell another piece of land in Karen in 2011.
Reports revealed that he had used the property to borrow Ksh15 million from a local bank to purchase a Range Rover.
He acquired a brand new custom made Mercedes Benz at approximately Ksh22 million soon after his election into Parliament.
Savula, who is also facing prosecution alongside his two wives over a Ksh122 million scandal, is reported to be the kind of person who lives life on the fast lane.
However, tides seem to have changed on the legislator recently due to his extravagant lifestyle.
Little known Kakamega politician Sammy Aina Washiko claimed that he contributed Ksh1 million to post bail for the lawmaker after his arrest on October 26.
Other named contributors included Musalia Mudavadi, Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya, Benjamin Washiali (Mumias East), Emmanuel Wangwe (Navakholo) and Benard Shinali (Ikolomani).
