BBC is set to have its biggest office branch in the world hosted in Nairobi.

A tweet by BBC business editor Larry Madowo stated that the office will be the biggest outside the UK.

The BBC in Africa is set to launch the bureau together with a studio that will operate in Kenya.

The studio will play host to a new show Money Daily, which will be the first show by the international media house to broadcast everyday from Africa.

The show which premiers on Monday November 5, will be anchored by former K24 news anchor Maya Hayakawa.

Former NTV journalist who doubled up as an anchor and host, explained that the new show will showcase the endeavours of African entrepreneurs.

"Money Daily is here for the audiences that are finding themselves left out by business stories in the media.

"The headlines of the day will be presented alongside the real reactions and experiences of all types of African entrepreneurs.

"We know this will be a useful programme for viewers making their everyday money decisions," stated Modowo.

Details of how big the news-centre will be are yet to be revealed.
