Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru has once again left Kenyans marvelling at her way of mingling with members of the public just days after a video showing her dancing went viral.
Waiguru spent her weekend at the Havila Resort situated along the banks of Tana River near Sagana town where she graced a jeans and boots extravaganza hosted by Citizen TV anchor and talkshow host Jeff Koinange.
Also at the event were nominated MP Cecily Mbarire, CAS Rachel Shebesh and ousted Nairobi Speaker Beatrice Elachi who all donned boots and jeans, ready for horse riding.
Waiguru expressed her commitment to supporting similar ventures in Kirinyaga, saying the county stands a chance of being a leading tourist destination for the country.
"This is a step made in our journey to make this county a leading world tourist destination. Kirinyaga has vast natural resources that have for many decades remained unexploited and we shall revamp the sector," stated Governor Waiguru.
She called on locals and all Kenyans to visit the Havila Resort to have a unique interaction with the provisions in the serene natural environment.
Citizen TV journalist Jeff Koinange stirred the attendees with thrilling country music throughout the event.
Children were on Saturday and Sunday mid-morning hours treated to horse riding and gaming on the bouncing castles.
The fans had their best moments captured as they stared at the river and its waterfalls' scenery.
