30 KCSE Candidates Arrested at Sex Party in Bomet

30 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) candidates were on Friday night arrested participating in a sex party in Bomet County.

The boys and girls were reportedly engaging in illicit activities such as sex and taking alcohol moments after clearing their examinations.

Bomet Township Chief Reuben Ng’etich revealed that the police were tipped off by a concerned citizen in that neighbourhood, prompting the arrest.

The party was taking place at a house in Chepngaina village at the time of the arrest. Used condoms were found at the scene.

A woman suspected to have supplied the students with the drinks and alcohol was also apprehended.

Four students escaped from the 15 girls and 19 boys who were attending the party.

Mr. Ng’etich told Daily Nation that when the police stormed the venue, they found students dancing while others were kissing and fondling as loud music played.

Separately, Police are looking for Ambira High school students who appeared in a video making rounds on social media admitting to having participated in KCSE exams malpractice.

The ongoing KCSE examinations commenced on November 2, 2018, and are expected to be concluded on November 28.
