Jubilee MPs Warn Mudavadi Against DP Ruto's Donations

Jubilee party leaders working closely with the Deputy President William Ruto have initiated a series of scathing attacks on Musalia Mudavadi.

The lawmakers led by Kiharu MP Ndidi Nyoro while in the company of DP Ruto asked the ANC party leader to shun criticising Ruto over his numerous donations at harambees.

Nyoro stated he knew Mudavadi well and no one had complained about how he spends his money. He stated that Mudavadi should not be concerned about DP Ruto's donations across the country.

"I know Mudavadi at a personal level. If we are not questioning him for taking his money to the breweries, why is he so concerned when the Deputy President helps in building a church of God?" posed Nyoro.

The deputy President on his part maintained that he would continue moving around the country, insisting that he was the only one mandated to help the President in service delivery.

"I am the only one who is mandated to help the President. Those who are worried about which job they should do should go and read the constitution. It clearly states that the Deputy president runs the errands for the President," held DP Ruto.

The leaders were speaking at St. Peters Kirangari ACK in Kabete, Kiambu County. Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu also attended the service.

Ruto on Sunday told off his critics, noting that most of the leaders were moving closer to President Kenyatta so as to get part of his assignments as provided for by the constitution.

"I am working hard to ensure that that the President and Jubilee party's agenda succeeds. This is because I have a job to do. The rest are just hovering around to be involved," stated the Deputy President.

Mudavadi had called on the Director of Public Prosecution and the Ethics and Anticorruption Commission (EACC) to probe the deputy president over his numerous fundraiser contributions.
