Popular Rapper Octopizzo Faces Probe Over Death of University Student

Rapper Henry Ohanga, popularly referred to as Octopizzo found himself in the wrong arm of the law after he was named in the death of 19-year old Kenneth Abom.

It is alleged that on Thursday, Octopizzo started beating Abom after finding him in his Woodley house uninvited.

The rapper is then reported to have picked a panga, threatening to use it to take Abom’s life.

This prompted Abom to escape from Octopizzo by jumping from the fourth floor of the residential building.

Abom suffered severe injuries, causing him to be rushed to Nairobi Women’s hospital then later to Kenyatta National Hospital.

Abom, however, succumbed while receiving treatment on Saturday.

Octopizzo, however, denied his link to the boy’s death arguing that Abom Jumped one hour after their confrontation.

He Just took his stuff and went home then like an hour later we heard he Jumped,” Octopizzo affirmed in a phone interview with KTN

Abom’s father Aggrey Abom called out the hip-hop rapper for his arrogance, pointing out that the rapper did not even apologize for their loss.

He was very arrogant to us if he knew there was something wrong he would have come to apologize to us. Yesterday he even hired bouncers,”

It is not clear what Abom was doing at Octopizzo’s house. Sources, however, indicate that the rapper’s sister was present at the time of the incident.

Abom, whose neighbors termed as a huge fan of Octopizzo, was an ICT student at Strathmore University.

His family now awaits for Abom’s Postmortem report so that they can file a case against the rapper.
